My name is Bob Earle. I have a Master’s degree in Geography and Environment from San Francisco State University. I have loved many of my endeavors in earth science, planning, geographic information systems (GIS), and information systems, as well as parenting and grandparenting. In the last twenty years I have also taught part or full-time at many colleges, including SFSU, UC Davis, and several central Californian community colleges.
I now live in Bend, Oregon, AND LOVE IT. I have camped, backpacked, driven, and explored throughout the wild places of Oregon, California, and Nevada. More than just exploring though, I normally am recording and mapping what I see. I love to turn people on to what I see, so maybe they may see what I see. Some of my efforts have been part of several books and magazines.
This website was born on January 1, 2021. It is a work in progress, and will likely be expanded and matured every week.
